Gapless Play
An album is more than its songs. The segue into the next track, the live crowd that carries over, the exact length of every pause — that is part of the master. Until now, auto-play left a short gap between tracks, and every transition broke.
What's new
With Auto-play next track switched on, MixReview now starts the next track on the exact sample where the previous one ends. No gap, no click, no extra silence. What your client hears is the album as you sequenced it.
- Sample accurate — we recorded the playback in Safari and in Chrome and compared it against the original: the transition is identical, sample for sample.
- Your mix button comes along — if your client is listening to a particular version, the next track continues with the same one.
- Nothing to set up — there is no extra switch. Auto-play next track is always gapless.
Where to find it
Open a stereo album, then turn on Auto-play next track in the ⋯ menu. It carries a small beta label while we collect feedback.
Gapless Play currently works for stereo albums in the browser.
